Wild-hunted or from young orchards — supply genuinely can't be scaled on demand.

Most truffle oil is flavoured with synthetic 2,4-dithiapentane and has never met a truffle.
In season, a 20g truffle turns four plates of eggs or pasta into a restaurant dish.
